Receive SMS online — numbers by country
Choose a country and get a phone number to receive SMS verification codes online — no SIM, no personal number, pay only when the code arrives. Available countries are listed below, each with live prices and stock.
How receiving SMS online works
You pick the app you want to verify and a country. CODASMS gives you a real phone number from that country, you enter it in the app, and the verification code appears in your dashboard, usually within seconds. You never need a SIM card or your personal number.
Pricing is per code. Your balance is only charged for codes that actually arrive: if the waiting window ends with no code, the amount goes back to your balance automatically. Top-ups start at $2 by card, PayPal, bank transfer or mobile money, or $6 in crypto.

How to choose the right country
Use the country your connection appears to come from. Apps such as WhatsApp, Google, Telegram and Instagram compare the number's country with your location, and often refuse the number silently when they don't match. If you use a VPN, pick the VPN's country. More detail in which country number to use.
Frequently asked questions
Can I receive SMS online for free?
Free public-number sites exist, but anyone can read the codes, the numbers are reused, and strict apps usually reject them. A dedicated number from CODASMS costs from about half a dollar, and you only pay when the code arrives.
Are these real mobile numbers or VoIP?
CODASMS supplies carrier-backed numbers that apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Google and dating apps accept. For the strictest apps, choose the Priority option.
What happens if the code never arrives?
Your balance is refunded automatically when the waiting window ends with no code. You can also cancel an eligible order early for a full refund.
Which country number should I choose?
Pick the country your internet connection appears to come from. Apps like WhatsApp, Google and Telegram often refuse numbers from a different country.
Can I keep the same number for longer?
Yes. If you need to receive texts on one number for days or weeks, rent a number instead of buying a single code.
