1 Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CODASMS, available at codasms.com, and any related features and services (together, the "Service"), operated by [EKRPT Networking Labs Ltd., RC [number], registered in Nigeria] ("CODASMS", "we", "us").
By creating an account, topping up a balance, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2 The service
CODASMS provides temporary virtual phone numbers that receive one-time SMS verification codes (OTPs). You select a service and country, we issue a number, and any verification message received on that number is displayed in your account.
We currently offer two product types: activations (a number intended to receive a single code) and rentals (a number held for a defined period to receive multiple codes). Additional product types may be added over time.
The numbers are shared, temporary infrastructure. They are not personal phone lines, are not guaranteed to be reusable, and may be recycled after use. Delivery of any specific code depends on the upstream network, the destination platform, and carrier routing, none of which we control.
3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is lawful in your country.
4 Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [security@codasms.com] if you suspect unauthorised access. We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts at our discretion where these Terms are breached.
5 Balance & payments
The Service runs on a prepaid balance denominated in US dollars (USD). You add funds via our supported payment providers (currently PayPal and Cryptomus). Purchases draw down your balance.
Your balance is recorded as an auditable ledger of credits and debits. Added funds are credit toward Service purchases and are not a deposit-taking, e-money, or banking service. Top-ups may be subject to provider fees and minimum amounts shown at checkout.
Promotions
Promotional credit, bonuses, and discounts are offered at our discretion, may carry conditions, and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. Abuse of promotions may result in removal of the credit and account action.
6 Codes & refunds
Our core principle: you pay only for codes that actually arrive. If a number is issued and no verification code is received within the listening window, the charge for that order is released back to your balance.
Once a verification code has been delivered to your account, the order is complete and is not refundable, regardless of whether the code worked on the destination platform — acceptance of virtual numbers is controlled by that platform, not by CODASMS.
Balance top-ups are generally non-refundable to the original payment method except where required by law; balance may be consumed within the Service. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
7 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for fraud, harassment, spam, impersonation, evading lawful bans, creating accounts in violation of a third party's terms, or any unlawful purpose. A full list of prohibited activity is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You are solely responsible for how you use any number and any code you receive.
8 Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Number inventory, supported services, countries, and prices vary with upstream supply and may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
9 Intellectual property
The CODASMS name, logo, site design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Third-party service names and logos shown in the Service belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the platforms a number can be used with; this does not imply any partnership or endorsement.
10 Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that any specific platform will accept a number, that any code will arrive within a given time, or that a number is unique to you. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
11 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CODASMS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you spent with CODASMS in the [three] months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12 Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination for cause, remaining balance may be forfeited where permitted by law and where linked to abuse; otherwise we will handle any remaining balance in line with the Refund Policy and applicable law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
13 Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by posting the revised Terms with a new "last updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-account notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [the Federal Republic of Nigeria], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of [Lagos, Nigeria] have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
